WSU and University of Idaho formed a joint team made up of students Hallie Simpson, Alejandro Bravo Iniguez, Maggie McGlothern, Lauren Crisostomo, Nick Conner, Christine Chen, and Caleb Wagner.

They competed against teams from Oregon State University, Brigham Young University, Utah State University, and University of British Columbia.

The team from BYU came out on top and will face the other regional winners in July at the IFT FIRST event in Chicago.

The IFTSA has held the College Bowl since 1985, with a goal of bringing together food science students across the country for friendly competition.
