Food Science Club

The Food Science Club is for both undergraduates and graduates majoring in Food Science and related fields. The Food Science Club offers a learning environment by providing interaction between students, faculty, and industry leaders.

The club meets monthly to plan club activities and sponsors guest speakers who help students gain a better understanding of the food industry and the role it plays in providing the public with safe and nutritious foods.

The FS club is a great way to meet other students in the program as well as getting involved with IFT (Institute of Food Technologists) which is our national organization. Having a connection with IFT leads to many great networking experiences and job opportunities. It’s also a head start to meeting professionals in the industry, as well as potential future employers and colleagues!  If you love food as much as we do, you’re in the right place! Come check us out!
