Bhim Thapa.

Bhim Tapa

Greetings! I am Bhim Bahadur Thapa. I was born and raised in Nepal. I completed my undergraduate at Washington State University. After graduating with a BS in Microbiology, undergoing 2.5 years of work experience in food science, and more than 2 years of laboratory work experience in microbiology, I decided to go back to the School of Molecular Biosciences (SMB) again for an advanced degree. My master’s degree was in Molecular Biosciences from WSU. I am now pursuing my Ph.D. in Microbiology with a primary focus on microbiological food safety.

I feel that a career dedicated to microbiological food safety will be both worthwhile and personally rewarding. Aside from working in the lab, I enjoy playing musical instruments, spending time with my family, exploring the outdoors, and gardening.
