We are seeking a Food and Fermentation Expert to teach the popular and successful Cider School Program and to be a core faculty member in the delivery of the WSU undergraduate Ag & Food System Degree Program through the new campus in Everett, Washington. The Cider School provides education on principles and processes of cider and perry making, training in the practical skills of cider making, understanding of the business of cider making, and mastery of quality assurance and quality control in cider production. The successful candidate will be housed in the School of Food Science (SFS) at the WSU Mount Vernon Northwestern Washington Research and Extension Center (NWREC). The position will be responsible for supervising food preparation workers, delivery drivers, cash counter, coordination of inventory levels, warehouse sales, customer services, assistance to the sales supervisor, and cleaning and sanitation for the WSU Creamery.
