2015 Dairy Products Evaluation Contest Results

The UI/WSU School of Food Science will be coming home with several awards from this week’s Midwest Regional and National Dairy Products Evaluation competitions in Chicago, IL.

Students on this year’s team were Zachary Cartwright, Lauren Celmer, Hannah Damiano, Arianne Kreger, Jose Orenday-Ortiz, and Kristen Sparkman. Team advisors are Helen Joyner and Mike Costello.

Here are the results from the two competitions. Congratulations to our team– you represented us well!

Regionals:

dairy product eval teamThe team took third place in Cheddar cheese and butter, and second place in ice cream. Our team won the overall fourth place in All Products!

 

 

 

 

 

 

Nationals:

Jose Orenday-Ortiz took 10th place individually in all products.
