WSU SFS masters student, Megan Waldrop (major professor is Carolyn Ross), won a travel award to attend the USDA Agricultural Forum in Arlington, Virginia on February 21-22. She was chosen based on her essay on “The Greatest Challenge Facing Agriculture Over the Next 5 Years.” It is a sponsored trip that includes a tour of the ARS and other meetings in addition to the forum. She was first selected as a finalist here on campus and then WSU submitted the top 2 essays to the USDA discussion board. Megan was one of 10 graduate students nation-wide to receive the award. Congratulations, Megan!
